Thank you Kathy, your information and ideas are spectacular. I find these were wonderful ideas to prompt my thinking.

I used a card that I made to add to a treat I bought from the bakery to drop to a friend's mailbox today, as I know she's having some challenges. I texted her after I left it so that it didn't add to her day to have to visit.

To answer your question "how do I connect with myself" ... I feel I do have lots of ways, but right now what I am needing is a little more solitude and quiet days to recharge as I'm feeling overwhelmed. I feel the need to journal more to download some of that and reflect on what will help me through this.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful wisdom and stories.

Thanks Annette for your positive feedback. I love that you found such a fun way to surprise a friend who is experiencing some challenges and that you were considerate of her needs. And that you're making yourself a priority by allowing yourself space to recharge. Journaling is such a great tool for self-discovery. Thanks for being you. xo

Absolutely beautiful, Kathy. I wanted to share that I reached out to a newer friend of mine. My son and her son are friends and the few times they’ve had playdates, I have really enjoyed chatting with her. I texted her out of the blue today because we were out playing near her house. She said she missed me β™₯️ that was so affirming for my heart to hear.

Ohhh Amanda, I love everything about this story-how activities bring us close to others (your son's playdates), how you followed your intuition and pressed send on that text and that your heart was nourished by her response and the knowing that you matter to her. That is a win-win-win-win connection. Love, love, love. Thanks for sharing.
